con i mean coin dealers are always looking for leverage to get buy price down that's how they make money to eat or what ever they need, and no COA is just one of them.

the set has the coa and outer box, will receive it shortly:) price? you wouldn't believe it:)

regarding missing coa's,people buying coins and right away they throwing away the box and paper as most of them they dont know what is it for:) I've seen that before and had to tell them you need to keep that...otherwise wont worth a penny:)

As with all collectables, the packaging could be worth more than 60% of the item value ;)
    Not just coins

No outer box is no big deal ,but the goat wasn't a popular coin so hard to price
    Others might know more

sounds like it could have been issued through Australia post they did lunars and RAM roo's in flip outs with coin in, with just a white open ended cardboard box not sure if they had COA's i don't think they did if pushed for an answer.

    Hello together,
I have read your messages about the 3 Coin Set goat lunar 1. Iam looking for this set with box and coa. Perhaps someone will sell this set or exchange it with a brand new 3 coin Set dragon Lunar 2. Iam from Germany, so please excuse my incorrect english.

And one more question. Whats going on with the 3 coin lunar 1 sets ox, mouse and tiger? Nowhere I can find an offer. Not in ebay or elsewhere iam looking for. What's a fair price for these sets (if someone is offer it)?

    Thanks for answers

    Welcome newbie.
There are too few of these sets available and people are holding them tight. The last one I have seen on ebay was a tiger set maybe 2 years ago for $400 buy now. I am still biting myself for not buying it.

    NO
    Not for sure
But when we see see come into the shop with no COA's
Peter ALWAYS assumes they are stolen , he will ask them where the COA's are & give them a hard time about it
If he doesn't like the story they get told that his not interested ;)
Why would a collector part with COA's
And I'll trust his call after 40 years in the trade ;)

I was joking of course. Many collectors (in the US particularly) slab all their coins and dump the COAs. They couldn't care less about the COA.
As I was saying a few posts ago, I assume COAs could be easily faked and it probably wouldn't even be a major offense.

Different market in the US ,slabbed coins here are not really " collectable " in dealers eyes anyway

I would prefer a PF70 lunar over one with a certificate...
