Why have jewelry if you don't wear it? Just swap it for bullion. Must be pretty hard to convince people to buy opal jewelry off you if you hate the stuff?

Do you warn your customers of the peril of wearing your products?

I think I would rather get robbed and claim insurance rather than live a certain way because the 'junkies' might get me..

I thought it might be like CS gas.

Back in the UK the schools thought it might be educational to take busloads of schoolchildren across the channel for a day trip to France, big mistake, the minute we hit Calais everyone dispersed and bought up every firework, banger, flick knife, butterfly knife, Rambo knife, CS gas spray and alcohol and cigarettes they could lay their hands on, most of which we couldn't get in the UK and the stuff we could get worked out to be about a fifth of the cost in France.

We would routinetly get frisked as we got back on the bus and there was an amnesty box where you could drop off any toys anonymously. It was never hard to guess those who had bought the CS gas though. They generally tried it out and for a bit of privacy they usually tried it out in phone booths or down alleys.

    I miss those days!

Oh it was nasty stuff. I have seen a big rummed-up (and probably speed affected as well) metal head shrug off the OC, they had get 10 guys to hold him down and cuff him lol.

Slandering?? Bullshit! You make you coin from selling jewelry, opals are not an investment to most sane people.. And here you are saying you wouldn't wear jewelry because it is dangerous? kind of like a car salesman taking the bus and telling everyone that cars are death traps he wouldnt use...

Hypocritical and self sabotaging behavior. I have no problem staying in the 'sin bin' -you talk shit.

Can we close this thread please. It's reducing people to schoolyard comments.
