They are holding the money in trust and they are using it to pay for the Commonwealth government's obligations.

I genuinely don't know how much clearer this concept could be: they're doing pretty much what you just said they should do with the money.

The irony of someone who bangs on about "fiscal pygmies" all the time not being able to understand the difference between governments borrowing lost money and industry funds taking lost money would be funny if it wasn't so nauseatingly devoid of any sense of intelligent reasoning.

See earlier comments re: get a grip, malfunctioning grey matter, etc.

Sorry but i am at a complete loss as to how you can loose so many fcken people???
Doesn't the government do enough up your Anoose Census taking where friggen everything is recorded???
I have filled out my name, address and DOB for so many God damm licences and forms over and over again you would think it would only take 24 hours to find me or my relatives.
They have to be friggen kidding.
Hand this info to Prusken Debt collectors.
They will not only find you every time you move but will ring anybody remotely related to you to inform them that you have lost Superand they will do it for the next ten years untill someone informs them you are dead.
This whole i can't find them is a total Crock of shiet !!!!
Offer the Aussie population a 10% finders fee on all outstanding amounts and i guarantee that only those super accounts with members buried in state forests or training in Pakistan will not be found.
They are really good at their job..Morons
    Time for another Scotch

They contacted me through my bank about some super i had from one of the part time jobs i had when i was about 18 a couple of years ago . My bank kept telling me about it until i followed it up & found the amazing sum of $6 & some odd cents (it was a crap job that i worked at for 1 night then didnt go back )They spent more than $6 looking for me . I wonder how much of that super is for worthless amounts that nobody cares about . & no i didnt worry about the $6 It was the com bank if anyone is interested
