I cannot believe ebayers are paying $21.15 for 1 round 1966 50c coin. That is a premium of 56% compared to the price quoted on W. Davis & Son website. Even if you brought bulk, And paid $1575 for 100 coins your still paying a massive premium of 16% These examples are what I have seen today on ebay. Look I believe silver will be at $100 per ounce in the next year to 18 months. But why would you pay such a premium ?
1966 50c Kilo Spend $1,018 .3416 x 32.15=10.98 ea Sell on ebay 15 ea = $1410 If you cant beat em join em
EBay confuses me. Not that you can't get bargains reasonable prices some times. it that some people seem prepared to pay crazy prices. Mind you, my first silver purchase was on eBay: 20 kooks @ $29 each. Then I joined this forum and bought ASE's off Steve for $25. Maybe they are all first timers.
Yeah you can get cheap stuff. I got an engraved name tag for my dog for $6 inc postage to my house, try getting it done for double that at a pet store !
