    Hi fellow Stackers;

I have found a cheap source ( 20% - 10% below spot) source of world silver fractional coins e.g.

AUST: shillings, florins, six pence, three pence
Germany: 5 marks, 3 marks, reichmarks etc
Peru; Russian; Italy; Swiss; Panama; France etc.

I have researched them on coinflation and other websites and the years all match up - they are fractional silver years.
The seller is trusted - it is a face to face transaction with an old bloke who is a collector - not a bullion stacker.

The question is - WILL PEOPLE BUY THEM? Would you buy them? Would Ebay buy them?
My plan is to buy and flick within 3 - 6 months rather than add them to my core metal position...

Thanks in advance - HD. :D

Would buy them depending on whether you are prepared to pass on some of the savings.

I buy world fractionals in less than perfect condition, they make a great addition to a pirates treasure chest!

You can never have too many!

However, on the scale of silver popularity they are not high!

But you only need to find a few buyers and you are sorted, you will find them on this site!

    Buy 'em.

Just be aware if you need to dump them in a hurry, most dealers will only pay around 85% of spot for anything sterling or less purity - maybe 90% if you are lucky

If you can pick them up between 10% - 20% below spot you really won't lose anything worse case - except if spot itself drops

I would/will buy fractionals, but I already know exactly which ones I want to get and will most likely have to import them to get my hands on them, the other fractionals I want are available locally so I will see how I go with that

If you can get the German Reichsmark below spot i would say jump at it

They sell for way above spot these days close to 25-30 for a 5 Reichsmark which has .4 oz

    Best of luck .

Stick to bigger countries and coins which are easier to recognise as you might have difficulty selling when it's not as recognisable.

I would totally buy them. To me silver is silver and when you stack less that 99.9% then you are also stacking copper/nickel/zink or what ever :)

Also if you needed to buy something with silver like a loaf of bread and it was equivilant to $2.5 then 4 little post 1946 threepence (50%silver) would make the deal with no change needed

Thanks guys. I bought a few things this week and will keep picking over this collectors stack - all sorts of stuff.
Got 3 of those 5 reich mark coins this week and paid 80% of spot - had no idea they would be worth more.
I just just a melt value calculator on my smart phone.... Thanks for all the advice and feedback. :)

I haven't had any problems getting rid of fractionals when I get my hands on em cheap. After the eBay/PayPal fees, the profits are not too big, but it is still a profit.
