Tried to upload some money via bank, to buy unallocated gold in Netherlands, and I got rejected from my bank: Reason: Our law does not allows payment to international companies for prodicts that are stored in abroad, and does not cross our border into country, that includes bonds, unallocated PMs, etc.... how stupid is that!?!?!! Worst than Africa! I am very disapointed! God forbid that small man earn some money, or saves himself from inflation! Is there any unallocated dealer that uses paypal?
I tried to upload 100 (one hundred) EUR to my ccount at GoldRepublic.com. No, our banking law doesnot allow payments to abroad for items that does not arrive in Bosnia. How stupid is that? Only registered dealers in PM or brokers can do that, not individuals. Even if I open of shore account, how can I transfer my funds? For every international transaction you must have a invoice or reason why you send money to abroad. It is so stupid. Bank suggested me to use paypal. I dont think GoldStackers are accepting paypal. If anybody knows some dealer who does, let me know. I can only use paypal or skrill.
Maybe you could tell them you are sending money to a friend or relative (one of the members here) then they can buy what you want ?
That way I loose privacy and why bothering somebody else to buy metals for me. I guess I will stick to physical coins...
To continue the story: I ordered some silver and gold coins (4 oz silver, and 1/10 oz gold) from Germany, anyway, I got phonecall from customs office, they are requesting my paypal invoice, so they can calculate customs fee, thats ok, but then, custom officer asked me this question: "Why I need this coins, what for?" ?!?! I told them that I am collector, and I collect numismatics, because they never heard for "stacker". LOL. Why do I need it! Geez!
Sorry to hear that, I can only imagine the frustration. Good luck and I hope things improve over time.
