NB** This proof set is less than the equivalent 2022 tigers. 1997 proof set 1/20- 1oz. The set is as new & includes the packaging & the original 1997 sales receipt $5400 + post. I can do F2F in Canberra now or Rush Cutters Bay from 23/12/21. Shlomo hasn't gone insane, so no sympathy cards required (unless they have gold inside). After a tough year, I want to surprise my wife with a new car at Christmas.
Schlomo check the back of the numbered ingot, it will state the purity, and if gold will be about 7 grams
The 1989 issue is the only one that has a 9 ct gold 1/4 oz ingot, all the other ones are plated only. It was because the 1989 set was a special 90th anniversary of the Perth Mint issue. So the 1989 sets contain 2.15 oz and all the other 5 coin sets have 1.9 oz.
The ingot is firmly set in & I do not want to damage it. Assume the ingot is NOT 22K & enjoy the bonus if it is.
