Hi Guys just wondering do you buy less silver this time of the year ? I'm an " average joe",kids finishing school need money for moives etc..Wife needs money for presents etc...holidays ,visitors, new B.B.Q. etc..Does the silver market cool because of this, are people too busy to have much interest in PM's? What goes in the lead up to Christmas?
I stop all trading (physical and paper) over both the Xmas and Easter breaks for two reasons (neither of them funds dependant): 1. I like to take time out and chillax. 2. the markets are usually too thinly traded and volatile with unstable pricing risk over these periods.
Yes, i am making my last purchase of the year soon for the reasons you mentioned above. Will start again in Feb. End of year for me is time to pause, take stock and review my short, medium and long term plans for the year ahead.
My Wife and daughter are Bhuddist and do not recognize Christmas, so buy more silver for me and some Gold for Wife and Daughter.
Yep instead of consuming garbage made in china, silver for all + a bit of leggo. I have even told my sisters that their children will no longer get toys from us, I have 5 nieces - their stacks will be added to every birthday and xmas.
The kids are going to love getting 1/10 scottsdale rounds in the xmas pudding this year, hope they don't chip a tooth
ADDICTED I'm addicted to my silver, Shiney new and bright, I love my bars of silver, I feel them in the night. I'm addicted to my silver, The wife thinks I'm really nuts, I love my shiny silver, Through the booms and the gluts. I'm addicted to my silver But they say cash is king, I love my coins of pure silver, Their praises I will sing, I'm addicted to my silver A stacker I've become, I love all my silver, I need to own a ton.
Sad to say but I am giving silver as presents too. If silver dips I will probably buy some but as I will not be at work I probably won't be spending much time on the computer so I will probably miss any dips.
LOL...hey, if they don't recognise Christmas they shouldn't be getting presents, ie the gold...maybe for birthdays, but not for Christmas ! Sorry, to me that's like trying to keep a foot in both camps...
