    I've noticed the tab headers are coming up with a #p2485748 text instead of a thread name.

    And key words are coming up as blue underlined hypertext links. words like " next " and " silver "

    Have you tried disabling and then re-enabling notifications in the PM settings?

    No issues here, i receive PM notifications but i have to login each and every time - but only because i want to :)
    I don't know if it helps but i don't want a record kept on my work computer of each time I quickly pop on to SS while on work time, we have more redundancies coming up in July i'm guessing (unless the appeal court rules in our favour).

    I know that that IT can see and record all but it makes me feel better and reduces the log on incentive :D

    My notifications get automatically sent to my junk box. I thought I was being ignored for a while until I looked there.

    Something similar happened to me after I installed software designed to give me some anonymity whilst on the interweb, I think if I right-clicked on the hyperlink I was able to disable it. I think.

    UPDATE;

    Well thanks to a PM from Valuecreator, my problem is solvered.

    It was a bit of 'D-grade' Spamware called "Browse to save"... just a control panel uninstall and all's well.

    It's funny, I'm so used to sophisticated attacks that I completely forgot about lame-arse malware like that. I was getting ready with a sledghammer when all it took was some spray 'n' wipe :D

    Thanks again Valuecreator!!!!

    I got a funny stories for this. A mate of mine work in accounting at a private firm. One of his job to to pay the bills. One day he open the bill from Telstra...he was shocked to see the bill was $31,000 for 1 month of ADSL. They had to call some IT specialist to investigate...it appears that one of the boss son who work there...download movies and stored in the server. It was like 30tb worth. Guess what happen next?

    All the blokes goes running across the road to Officework to buy protable hard drive...and my friend told the IT consulatnt to come back the day after to wipe out the server. Lol...my mate come back with 5 portable hard drive...hahaha.

    The fact that it got through is the worrying thing.

    Might be time to 'clean house' again regardless.
