Why is gold so valuable ?

    this is just my opinion...

    people's confidence in the value of gold is the same as that of fiat currency. as long as everyone else thinks its valuable, then it has value. if no one had confidence in the value of gold, then it would not be valuable (just like that of paper money). so, as long as everyone else values gold, you might as well play the game too

    Dusty has been away for work so hasn't had a chance to really communicate here anymore but I do keep him up to date with all the going ons.
    Whilst he's at home he spends most of his time in his vegetable garden trying to unwind.
    I do know that there was one person from America on here that he had sent a 1oz Kook to but it came back to our address and I know he was eager to send it to this gentleman but he cannot remember his name.
