Who was National Refining Systems ?

    I have the opportunity to locally buy a 10oz fine silver bar made by National Refining Systems Inc for $285 CDN. There are a few of them up for sale as "rare" on ebay for $350++ USD but I can't find any history on them. Anybody know who this company was and whether these bars are truly sought after as "rare" ?

    Rare as the Chicago refinery shut down so no longer in production but not sure of anything else about them. APMEX stocked them a few years ago so worth checking there first to see what kind of premium they're adding if they still sell them.

    Lots of online sites showing the bar but all are out of stock and none provide background information. Judging from the lack of responses although it is rare it appears there is no interest in this bar or refiner. I'll be offering spot for this one.
