Mercury dime and Britannia do indeed have nice portraits but compared to a 5 oz Norfed Liberty Dollar (which I do not own, sadly) are just not in the same league in my view....

The "Trust In God" and "In God We Trust" rubbish ruins it for me. Makes my skin crawl.
    Anyone else?

hang in there, science and thus common sense, will prevail one day.

The 2014 Britannia is a better looking coin in my opinion, although quality problems have kept me away from the series completely.

Yes, I get that sentiment totally. I'd much prefer it didn't have that either but the Liberty Dollars sure is an aesthetically attractive design.

  10. I fully agree with you on that but I also despise the foolishness of the motto "out of many, one" E pluribus unum, particularly in its modern, bastardized interpretation.
Considering that multiculturism is an abject failure, which is now clear to all but the most tenaciously deluded. Probably most of these in the god camp also.
I wonder who 'coins' these idiotic sentiments. :D
