Pretty hard to discuss anything SilverSale with you patting yourself on the back every 2nd post.

You made some $$, good for you.

As for bitcoins, I haven't bought into them because of pump and dump crap that goes with them.

Eureka, when you have a forum of perma-bulls... every so often you need to pat yourself on the back.

Excellent, Although I hope bitcoin doesn't die as I am hoping to pick some up cheap shorty to make a little more money off of it!

After reading these forums for years before I joined I have learned who's opinion can be helpful and who to just ignore. I knew nothing about T/A in 2009 and Have only been learning slowly since then. At the end of the day I make the decision where to put my money and hold myself solely responsible; I lost some back in the day listening to Hobo-Jo with his stock tips on CGT however I have also made money listening to some of the forums T/A including thatguy, wrcmad and Silversale. I pick and choose who and when I want to listen to their advice and although it is not often said or acknowledge I appreciate their input.

To those that don't realize sometimes you can make a lot more money playing the game both ways, buying and holding can be the least profitable and riskiest option long term.

I only play high risk options with money that I realize I can lose however this has been profitable to the point I no longer risk losing any of my initial investment and still have a healthy return.

T/A is always changing with new data and not always going to be right but it gives you a much better chance of being right in my opinion.

So to get this topic back on track.....Where to Silversale? In your opinion what is the next level that we are going to see?

    long88, re: silver

I will tell you where silver is most likely going, but the question is, will you do anything about it and actually act, or continue to live in a fantasy world ???

The market still needs to destroy those that have been holding precious metals all this time.
Many will sell at or near the bottom, ie B-Baron. - their net worth will most likely halve in value once again.

Most likely target for silver is US$9.

Yeah, market bounce back has been promising.
LTC basically back to where it was.

And lucky it bounced back - just bought a couple of brand new 7970s with my LTC today.

    How much in AUD ?
Or don't you do FX ?

And what probability does 'most likely' equate to ?

of course, small panic due to NEWS, then back to the norm. Had it simply been a trigger we'd be much lower right now.

If someone is still willing to stand by their claims that T/A predicted that then you're a monumental idiot - don't care who you are.

Even I have to agree with this point and I'm not a TA follower

The announcement from mtgox was just the single event, but how many people were having difficulty with mtgox for weeks or months before that and how many were acting on those
The price action would have reflected this

But seriously TA works because TA works
If enough people involved in a market believe the price will fall when one moving average crosses another then it will
And from what I see EVERYBODY trading bitcoins is a chartist
Why does every bit coin price website show a chart ?

At the risk of being a "monumental idiot" (some would say even more of a monumental idiot :p )

There is no claim that T/A predicted the news.
There is no "claim" of anything. The 160-odd prior posts are slated in writing. It is indisputable fact.
According to SSale's analysis, T/A indicated the most probable price outcome given the market setup at the time, which he publicly suggested.
In the weeks that followed, this eventuated.
