Where to Sell Sterling Silver Scrap/Jewellery

    Does anyone know of the best place (preferably in Melbourne) to get the most money for sterling silver scrap and jewellery? I have kilos of the stuff, but most of the gold and silver buyers are offering peanuts for it.
    Maybe its better to just get it refined into bullion and sell it off like that? I would prefer not have to go through that hassle, but if its worthwhile, I would think about it. If you know the costs of getting this done would be a great help too :)

    Any info/advice would be appreciated.

    put it up for sale in half kilo lots in a months time when i have some spare fiat to spend.
