Hi people. Thanks to the owners for making this great site. I'm planning on buying my first silver coins in the next couple of weeks. I guess I'll just buy from the perth mint. Hopefully for my sake it won't go up too much in the meantime. I remember at the start of the year it was at around $29 an oz. Now it's around $35. Not bad. My question is about when you want to sell it. Do you do it on ebay? Are there any companies like that goldbuyers place that seems to have sprung up in every shopping mall in the country?
Buying: look at some of the sponsors of this site as they're very competitive. Selling: Silver Stackers Buy, Sell and Swap forums do a brisk trade.
...are opportunistic, and do not pay anywhere near spot price. Selling/Buying is easy on the forum here. Most (all?) dealers will buy back as well, just ask them.
When your ready to sell just talk to Aurora et Luna or Captain Kookaburra (Both site sponsers) I believe either of them are paying at least spot. I haven't sold to Steve but I bought some stuff from his store a while back and Just sent some stuff off to the Captain.
have sold several times to steve...if gold i always ask for some silver as change.. wed lunch meets in the city. spoke to him this morning and will have cash and silver at noon. very fast
I buy, sell, swap as well as take trade-ins Minimum of spot for gold and .999 silver. An additional premium for the better stuff.
