Hi all, I need an independent valuation for some coins, they are in my SMSF and I am compelled to have them valued annually. I need a good valuer FAST!!!!! Shiny.
For a SMSF can you not use a recognised coin catalogue (McDonalds) etc. I know for bullion bars and coins PM buy back prices are acceptable
That is a good question. My advice is to get an independent valuation.... I assumed this to be one I paid for!! Also, I have Spanish gold doubloons which need valuing.... Are they in the catalogue you talk about? Thanks for your fast response Ron. Shiny
if its for ___ purposes find the tightassest dealer and get them to write a quote to buy after all that's what they are worth edit: which is probably most of them/
Hi - although I'm in Perth (WA), I may be able to assist you with a numismatic valuation to current ATO standards. PM me for more details, or you can contact me via our website: http://www.sterlingcurrency.com.au. Regards, Andrew
In my opinion Noble Numismatics is the best if you go ask for Jim and say that Max Moran told you to go he will give you a fair price and he is always looking for consignments for his auctions I hope this helps you -Max
