Where are you getting the silver price? Which exchange?

Hi all – I've long noticed discrepancies between different dealer silver price tickers, and I'm wondering what exactly are the sources. For now, I'm just curious where you're getting "the" price of silver, depending on region.

In the US, I think when we refer to the silver price we're referring to COMEX silver futures. I wonder if silver stackers in other English-speaking countries are also tapped into the COMEX price or if you have a different source, a different exchange perhaps.

So, where do people from the following countries get "the" price of silver?

Australians?

Brits?

Canadians?

New Zealanders?

We normally use kitco

 

The dealers I know also base their buy and sell prices on Kitco's Bid and Ask prices.

There are some good apps that have Kitco price charts for AU, AG, PT and PD.

 

But where are those prices coming from? Which exchange(s)?

(I have the official Kitco app on my phone – they improved it quite a bit recently, and it seems better than third-party apps that use Kitco charts.)

 

They’re a reflection of the Comex spot price ticker.
