For a year 2000 dragon? that seems like a good buy then :)

Well in the threads on 1/2oz, 2oz and 5oz Dragons you said you couldn't understand why people were paying the retail prices for what is now looking likely to be low mintage coins - but this thread demonstrates the value of a bullion dragon that also had unlimited mintage but has been shown to have numismatic gains.

There isn't that many 2000 10oz coins though right? also it's old, I doubt most are buying now with the thought of holding them for 10 years.

I'm not against buying if the price is right, I have some 10oz 2012 dragons, but given spot at the moment I don't agree with the pricing. Not as bad as it was when people were buying 1oz coins for $100 but it still seems wrong in my mind.

each to their own, I hope those that buy today make good money.

That coin doesn't look right to me, funny how the seller can't even take straight photos.

I have one and I recall the 10 oz symbol, wasn't 10 OZ 999 Silver. I better double check the coin when I get a chance =D

(Disclaimer: I may be wrong though)

Also the dragon to border ratio doesn't look right.

oh well good luck to the seller.

Hey, photos distort when not taken well or with a shaky hand.. part of my strategy is to buy poorly taken shots as its a deterrent to newbs who like pretty pictures.. buy the coin not the image!

$470 is an ok price for this but still a bunch over spot so fair.. in the meta context $470 should be a steal but id say the 2012 for $340 is still the better buy (just because humans are sheep like and for the most impulsive rather than measured!)
