Keen to understand the size of Gold Bar that most here have in their SMSF and what % it would be of total SMSF funds?

Some have 1oz PM certicards, and approx 25% of SMSF worth.

Had a stack of 100gm Certicards the other day (destined for super funds), they make a nice gold block when you stack them together. Chunky.

Concur with the 10oz cast bar - best seller for super funds we see, followed by 1oz Certicards. Have also sold 1kg and 50oz bars into them.

Personally I use unallocated, but I'm slightly biased in that regard.

Mix of Perth Mint and another.

PM kilo bars are a pain in the butt to get - Wholesale doesn't carry them normally, they are a special order item to get, and because of the value, either need to be shipped uninsured with a waiver (putting a loss risk onto the dealer) or via armoured carrier which adds ~$480 to the cost. Looks like we've lined up a cheaper alternative that's in the works for people looking to source them, but nothing to announce just yet.
