US Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke spoke early this morning 4:15 AM (Sydney time)

He delivered a speech entitled "The Economic Recovery and Economic Policy" at the Economic Club of New York.

USD goes up, gold goes down. ;) and then everyone recovers their senses.

I'd say it's a technical glitch rather than a real move.

    [IMG] versus [IMG]

    Not inspiring confidence with goldprice.org.

Might flick an enquiry off to them.

What scares me is I didn't even bother to cross check , just assumed they were having a moment.

Yeah I just noticed the second one now.

I'm not basing a buy or sell trigger on the chart myself, but I feel for anyone that does.

That said, PMs have been flat lately so damage would be minimal.

Do goldstackers update their prices based on these charts?

If so, does anyone know the lag time between the chart going crazy and the updates to the goldstacker's prices, if I can just time it right...

Roughly the same time as yesterday. If it wasn't for the time of day I'd hazard it could be related to the London fixing. Did that proposal for an Asian fix go through?

Loathe to go back to Kitco charts. Will get in touch with goldprice.org to see if a fix is in the works.
