What is this bar?

    Here's a weird one. It's testing up as 999 on our XRF. 570g. 50mm wide, 305mm long. Holed at one end. There's a logo at one end as shown in the images that looks like an E with a bracket above and below it. Anyone have any clue what it is? Something industrial or jewellery related perhaps?
