For gold it was a 20 French Francs 'Lucky Angel' that I still have and for silver it was 10oz PM bar that I probably still have.

911 opened my eyes to the extent of corruption beyond our control and the abundance of lies about history that so many still believe to be true??? "baaaa" but it took a while for me to realise you need more than just numbers in the bank because they are just that! numbers floating in cyber space, numbers that are printed once a month on a bank statement to make us feel happy or sad.

Then I bought a New World Order 1oz silver round :)

Was asked by GF father to pickup a parcel from ABC, late last year.

He showed me his stack and I thought that's what I need.

wWhen i was like 14 my grandma gave me a 2000 2oz kook. it didn't come in a capsule just in a display box. and of course been a stupid kid i pulled it out. put my fingers all over it, and dropped it. it's dinged, toned and slightly scratched.
I still own it. even if/when i sell my whole stack, i will probably keep that one.
a bit more than a decade after i was given my first, started building my stack proper.

For me it was learning that the China 1984/1987 Great Wall silver proof medal that I purchased back in the 1980's, for no other reason than because I liked the design, was actually worth more than a few dollars.....a lot more than a few dollars. This opened my eyes to the notion that a silver coin (or medal in this case) could have value outside of the fact that it can be made into something aesthetically appealing. After all, there's plenty of other things that I have purchased over the years that are pretty....but have they appreciated in value or depreciated in value over the years? Take a guess.

And yes, I still own it. Probably will never sell it.
