Warning Tax Refund Scam

    The form asks for all your personal info and your credit card details

    Australian Taxation Office (ATO)


    As you were recently informed, after the last calculation of your fiscal activity, we have determined that you are eligible to receive a tax refund. We have tried to process your refund however, the transaction has not been authorized. Possible reasons are:

    - You have not received our previous notification e-mail;
    - You have completed the tax refund form, but meantime your financial information has been changed (credit/debit card has been cancelled or replaced);
    - You have completed the tax refund form, but we noticed an error in your financial information (such as name misspelled or incorrect contact information).

    In order to receive your tax refund, please follow next steps:

    - Save the attached form on your PC and open it in a web browser (e.g. Safari, Firefox or Chrome)
    - Once opened, you will be provided with the steps to complete your tax refund application form.
    - Complete the attached form accurately to avoid delays in processing your application.

    Wow, some lucky bastard scored a refund. Can you post the website and we can all fill it in. Maybe we may be lucky enough to get a refund.
