WA gold royalty rate to be doubled?

    They wanna be careful they may ask for 5%, but 5% of nothing = :)

    Royalties are JUST ONE of the many Govt. costs miners must incur to comply with mining specific legislation, not to mention landholder compensation, Native title etc... this will be the straw that broke the camel's back for many small operators.
