    BEFORE YOU CONTINUE
This is Part 2 of the Masters of deception Series.
Part 1 can be found here

    THE RANT STUFF
Mockingly you think, "of course our Government Economic Advisers are not qualified". However, you express that in jeer humour, and not by facts.
This article will make you think twice about people in positions of 'power' that have direct or indirect 'influence' over your life.

Is your State or Federal Economist 'Qualified'?

    THE INTRO STUFF
Just what does the word "Qualified mean?
    Does it mean:
    1. A Professional whom has thoroughly studied and attained a Certificate or Degree in the field they work in.[/*]
    2. A Professional whom only has Life Experience and no Certificates or Degrees.[/*]
    3. A Professional whom has no experience, certificates or degrees in the field they work in, and were given the 'job' by a friend.[/*]
    4. A Professional whom has attained a fake Certificate or Degree and managed to 'fool' those around them, which ultimately led to their artificial exalted position.[/*]
    5. A Professional whom has legitimately studied and attained a Certificate or Degree from a University, College or Tertiary Institute (such as TAFE in Australia), but obtained this due to very low standards of competency and relaxed markings.[/*]
    6. A Professional whom has legitimately studied and attained a Certificate or Degree from a University, College or Tertiary Institute (such as TAFE in Australia), but bribed the Deed, Professor or Teacher to 'turn the blind eye' on poor results.[/*]
There is no question definitions 1-2 above are in my opinion legitimate 'Qualified Professionals'.
    - Def. 1) The Professional has studied hard, yet is limited to only Theory. He/She can talk the talk.
    - Def 2) The Professional has never formally studied or attained a certificate or Degree, but does have plenty of real life-experience. He/She can talk the talk.
However, definitions 3-6 are by no means 'competent', and should be stood down immediately.
    - Def. 3) The Professional only got the job due to knowing someone in position of power to do so. is incompetent.
    - Def. 4) The Professional clearly committed fraud intentionally by obtaining a fake certificate or degree (possibly online). Is incompetent.
    - Def. 5) The Professional did not understand what was being taught to them at University, College or Tertiary Institute. Is incompetent.
    - Def. 6) The Professional did not understand what was being taught to them at University, College or Tertiary Institute. Is incompetent.

Today, we shall be focusing on Definitions 3-6.

Just how many unqualified Economic Professionals are there?

This is The FAKE case against Fraudulent Economists.

    -------------------------
    DID YOU KNOW?
The amount of people whom lie to get a job are staggering!
    • 20% state fraudulent degrees[/*]
    • 80% of all resumes are misleading[/*]
    • 30% show altered employment dates[/*]
    • 40% have inflated salary claims[/*]
    • 30% have inaccurate job descriptions[/*]
    • 27% give falsified references[/*]

THE TECHNICAL AND TO THE POINT STUFF
Here is a Dictionary Definition of the word Qualified:
In Australia, The use of higher education terms (such as "degree") is protected in state legislation, e.g. Higher Education (Qld) Act 2003.
ASIC governs and regulates corporations handing out "Degrees" and/or "Certificates.

In the UK, it is illegal to offer something that may be mistaken for a UK degree unless the awarding body is on a list maintained by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

    However,
In the USA, The United States Government does not have a federal law that would unambiguously prohibit diploma mills, and the term "university" is not legally protected on a national level.
    OMFG
The United States Department of Education lacks direct plenary authority to regulate schools and, consequently, the quality of an institution's degree.
    Oh, but don't worry!
However, the Federal Trade Commission works to prevent fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices including those in the field of education and alerts United States' consumers about diploma mills by delineating some tell-tale signs in its official web page.
Phew. I was worried for a second just then. So long as nobody gets penalized (such as fines or incarceration). We wouldn't want 'fake' Economists or for that matter any 'fake' Professional getting in trouble, it's just unethical to punish them!

So, WTF (what) is the Federal Trade Commission, and what exactly does it do (in detail) to 'prevent' fraudulent certificates and degrees?
Well, The Bureau of Consumer Protection's mandate is to protect consumers against unfair or deceptive acts or practices in commerce. With the written consent of the Commission, Bureau attorneys enforce federal laws related to consumer affairs and rules promulgated by the FTC. Its functions include investigations, enforcement actions, and consumer and business education. Areas of principal concern for this bureau are: advertising and marketing, financial products and practices, telemarketing fraud, privacy and identity protection, etc. The bureau also is responsible for the United States National Do Not Call Registry.

Hey, I'm starting to like this FTC. Even their About Us webpage drools with awesomeness. So much fluffy magical words assuring unsuspecting citizens 'they got your back'. Don't worry, cause 'they' also will never punish fraudulent people whom had illegitimately obtained any certificate or degree!
Wow, it must be true; USA is truly land of the free - free criminals and lock up law abiding citizens.

I can be a genius in the USA for $3000 AUD (airfares + hotel room + purchase of fake degree with a Harvard sticker on it). Hell yeah!

    The Federal Trade Commission (FTC):
Who is John Galt Jon Leibowitz?
I shall only bother pointing out suspicious worthy info about Jon (pulled from various sources):
Okay, so let me get something straight; there stands a man who's name is Jack Jon responsible for the ultimate overseeing and 'humiliation announcement' of fake Certificates and Degrees being issued in the USA, and has not once in office issued any 'humiliation notices' on FTC website. Boy, I feel so much better now. -_-
Though, at least Jon made it in Bloomberg 10 times, most related to Google Privacy Violation. After all, Jon does not want anyone or any company from threatening his own agendas.

Only 14 states in the USA have laws against unapproved degrees as credentials illegal or legally restricted..
    - Illinois,[13] Indiana,[13] Maine,[14] Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri,[15] Nevada,[13] New Jersey,[16] North Dakota,[16] Oregon,[13][16] South Dakota,[13] Texas,.[17][18] Virginia,[13] and Washington.
Of these 14 States; only 4 of these States are outright illegal to obtain a fake Certificate or Degree.
The military also restricts (is not illegal in other words) the use of unaccredited degrees; a notable case involved Vice Admiral Donald Arthur of the U.S. Navy

    ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
There is one famous Economist most of us all know, Mr Ben Bernanke, Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank.
Now, Ben Bernanke is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa society.
He had 'earned' his Degree in Economics at Harvard (back in 1975). Now, Harvard University is in the State of Massachusetts. Just so happens Massachusetts is not one of the States listed as making it illegal to fraudulently obtain a Certificate or Degree.

Oh shyt, no wonder Ben Bernanke epic fails. He has fake Certificates and Degrees, and he only got the job because he is buddies with other 'Phi Beta Kappa' members. I scratch your back if you scratch mine.
    ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    -------------------------
    DID YOU KNOW?
The institutions that sell these fake qualifications are known as either diploma mills or degree mills.
    --------------------------

    THE SUMMARY STUFF
Just how many 'Qualified Economists' in the USA have fake Certificates and Degrees? There is no penalty applied to those caught red handed with fakes other than an awwwww ahhhhh 'humiliation notice' on a dammm inconspicuous FTC website.
There should be Federal Punishment for fake Professionals.
There is no encouragement or incentive to stop issuing out fake certificates or degrees in the USA.
The rewards are great for fake Professionals in the USA.

Jon Leibowitz, himself does not really have adequate 'Qualifications' to sit as Commissioner Chairman of FTC, he only got the job since one of his buddies President Obama is also a Phi Beta Kappa member (along with Former U.S. Presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter). Hell, Jon only has 'qualifications' and knowledge to be a Juvenile Anti-terrorist Attorney General!

    One then asks the question:
    • Just how many Unqualified Economists and Professionals are getting around in the USA or the World?[/*]
    • Just how many 'Professionals' and people in positions of power lack the appropriate skills and qualifications?[/*]

Only 14 states in the USA have laws against unapproved degrees as credentials illegal or legally restricted.. Obama has your back!
    - Only 4 of these States are outright illegal.
The military only restricts (is not illegal in other words) the use of unaccredited degrees.

Even if there were a Federal Law whereby making it illegal to have 'fake' Degrees or Certificates, there is still a loophole. Great, Religion wins again. -_-

Should we be concerned about Terrorism Worries?

Check out the dedicated Wiki on Diploma mills in the United States. This shyt is serious!

Here are some online stories found on Google related to 'fake' certificates and degrees. Check it out.

With unemployment rising, more people take desperate measures.
People unable to get jobs due to lack of 'qualifications'. Since they also struggle to put food on their table they find cheap shortcuts to get 'qualifications'.
    The desperate obtain fake qualifications.

Will the next generation be filled with dumbasses holding fake certificates and degrees? I believe so.
I believe at least 50% of the lower and middle class will either have a fake qualification or know of someone who does within 10 years time.

Fake Certificates and Degrees; The Future Epidemic.

No it shouldn't. No law against "in construction", and neither is it improper English.
Yes, I know about webdev words buddy.
I was lazy at time of that announcement by using "in" instead of "under". Because, I was so caught up in research (lit. getting off on it). Wo0t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
