    Came across this YouTube Video this morning thought it was an interesting video of one mans take on why China is telling it's People to buy Gold & Silver

    I heard that its to divert the major spending away from property and to cool the property market.

    those are very interesting concepts. And it does make sense to China to do something like that.

    Hi,


    It basically states that the reason China is wanting its citizens to purchase gold is so they can then convert that gold into Legal Tender Coins, which would add value to the Yuan without causing Inflation, and giving Chinese Citizens more buying power. Having a currency that is back buy something real being Gold, & not just printed out of thin air, and they would do this by the citizens buying the gold not necessarily just the government and allowing the Yuan to one day become the Reserve Currency.
