A suitcase with the 2003 1kg Silver Panda and the 1983-1985,1987,1989-2006 silver pandas
and Chinese documentation/certificates. Bought in 2007 I presume.

What would you pay for this set today?

Does anyone recognise this set format, or have you seen such a 'suitcase' set before?

Yes. Now i can saw the picture. But you need to take better pictures for a 1983-1985/1987 and 2000 coins are the most expensives. And if they are legal. You will make a nice profit.
I dont like the 1 kg because in your photo is gilded. Is a fake or after market gilded.

Thank you for the observation. I am new to silver panda's, but it seems
    like you are right.

I am just trying to determine whether this will be a good buy, but now
serious doubt is placed on the rest of the collection.

Might get some quality images of the rest of the coins and will post
    soon tomorrow.

from what I can see there are no 10y denomination marks on the coins , if not, they are copies ,the kg coin is a copy IMHO ,so the value is the melt value of the silver if in fact it is silver....... IMHO

    $0. All fakes lol.

If you wanted an expensive door stopper or paper holder there are plenty of 'fake' 2012 dragons "800g-1kg" that look really nice for around ~50-70 USD.

Yep, if there is no Yuan marked on the coins = zero silver or numismatic value.
