Curious on what you think if it’s worth cracking open the seal and breaking up the bar into individual 1g bars to sell or leave as a whole bar.
They are expensive as a block, ridiculous premiums. I am not sure what the premiums would be like for individual bars. The only thing that makes these stand out from all the other small gold bars is the novelty that they can be broken up. Once they are individual they lose that novelty. I would try to sell as a block or swap for small bars if that is what you are after.
I bought one years ago from my son when it was $2200 usd, I'm sure they are alot more now. I plan on trying to keep mine together and sell as one piece if I can. After looking at Apmex, they are almost $4700 now and that's alot. Maybe selling by the gram would be better.
