What will this do to Silver prices and Wall St.. What will happen to inflation! Regards Errol 43
People hoping for hyperinflation in the US are going to be sorely disappointed. Hyperinflation only happens to podunk nations on the economic periphery - even Germany was economically marginalised when it ran through its hyperinflation. But keep dreaming the dream, guys.
The central planners however look very anxious regarding (hyper)inflation though. Take for ex Cyprus, as of recently, they increased the limits on all electronic transfers, but NOT on cash withdrawals, it stays that 300 euro per day. And it's obvious why, the electronic transfers are just number shifts on memberbank accounts that stay under their control, but cash in hands of people, is totally uncontrollable. And coincidence or not, in some near future they gonna repglace all euro banknotes with new ones, with a new design. The first one will be introduced next week. Why replacing? Because they want to drive existing cash back to electronic form? They already talk now about removing legal tender status of the old banknotes. An operation that blocks you from using them to pay, with as only option left exchanging them at a central bank.
