I am no expert and can't be arsed to spend more time than I have working out the Australian Budget, but here are basic numbers and linkys:

    • Australia Tax Revenue: $307.5 billion (~25% of $1.2 Trillion GDP)[/*]
    • Australia Budget: $51.5 billion[/*]
    • National Debt: $208.992 billion (or according to DebtClock.com.au is still under $145 Billion)[/*]
    • Australia Credit Card Debt: ~$50 Billion[/*]

That's the budget deficit so their budget is actually tax revenue + 50 odd billion.
