Possibly the most outright attack on the banking system by a elected official I've ever heard...
And here he goes again, telling it like it is....
Cool, he's a total sound money advocate who understands the difference between the natural and good role of banks and derivatives and the bad role of enabling regulations that have corrupted the whole system. Dan Hannan, Nigel Farage and now Godfrey Bloom. Why can't we have those guys in our parliament?
The beautiful thing of most of the UKIP MEPs is they are all established in productive careers before they went into politics. Bloom an economist, Farage worked for The City, they have an MEP who is a norther farmer. They put videos of him to youtube of his speeches in EU fisheries and agriculture committees, speaking from experience of what works with livestock, soil etc. The EU has cockamamie ideas that may work, somewhere, but then tries to impose the ideas universally. Because who would have thought, the climate, soils, processes and crops differ between places.
I'm glad there's people like this...but they're just screaming at the tempest. Just listen to that idiot on the panel asking him to explain transparency.
Not to mention her comment/question regarding having true on-deposit savings accounts: "if you want banking to look like that. How are you going to make it happen?" "We can't possibly do it unless the foreign banks are doing it" And see the look on her face. She reckons she's nailed him.
