U.S. Economic Data Supporting Tapering QE, GDP & Jobless Claims

In September, the main topic of the G20 Russia meeting will be whether tapering QE will become a reality. Last week, US housing data was worse than expected, adding to speculation that the Fed will NOT taper. However, this week, US GDP and initial jobless claims came out better than expected, hinting at the fact that tapering QE could become a possibility very, very soon.
