Just speaking with my girlfriend and she told me that China allowed 2nd child for everyone to have, 2nd thing is that minimum salary in Shenzhen will be increased from 800rmb to 1500rmb next year, this smell like hyperinflation to me....

what happened to keeping inflation under control?

2nd child makes sense, 1 child policy sets china up for japan deflation.

The minimum wage sounds like a policy to pre empt or deal with social unrest. Is there social unrest in china right now?

I dont think so, but these measures look they r expecting something, 2nd child will make make Chinese very happy, next year is good for making children in Chinese calendar, we will see baby boom there next year which will increase domestic demand a lot, and will push prices of food higher. Second measure will have same effect, and i read that they allow to same banks in rural area
    to lease credit policy.

I believe that even the great Sun Tzu would have been happy with the above ala Chinois catalyst and accelerator.

Wow, imagine living somewhere where it is illegal to have more than one child ?!

In my understanding, in regards to 1 Child policy in China. Not everybody allowed to have the 2nd child, "conditions applied"....

The 2nd child is allowed under the following conditions:

    1. Divorced man/woman who re-married with someone who has NOT has a child yet...
    2. Non-Han ethnic Chinese couple, or a Han ethnic person who married to a NON-Han chinese person.
    3. Couples who lives in Countryside or village.
    4. A couple who did NOT satisfy any of the above conditions, still allowed to have their 2nd child ONLY under a harsh monetary penalty and increased taxation. The second child will not be receiving most of benefits and subsidies provided by government, meaning that the parents have to pay full price for everything for their second child...
