Hi guys having trouble taking photos of my stash, tried in the dark, light, inside, outside, flash on, flash off, even bought a new digi camera just for this reason. Any tips?
    Cheers Rick

Try positioning it under natural/ambient light.

And lots of trial and error. :)

If you have an SLR try buying a circular polarising filter of the correct diameter for your favourite lens, set your camera up on a tripod and then turn the polarising ring until you see the reflections off the metal disappear.

You really need a 'lightbox'. Just a makeshift one out of cardboard & cotton sheet will do wonders.

I got the best photography advice from one of the members on this forum, sorry I can't remember who but :-( I could've bought him a beer 10 times over. Bought a little lumix 5 that has taken photos that amateur enthusiasts have been jealous of... (its totally the camera's ability... that and that awesome lens
