Amen. And so are the markets. Anyone complaining about "speculators" disrupting the stable prices should A) Learn how to hedge. Hedging makes the price flatline for as long as the hedge is in place. B) Understand they too are speculating when buying low and selling higher. C) Understand that the only reason there is liquidity in something like the metals markets is because of speculation. Without it - it may cost $1600 to buy an oz of gold and others would have to accept $1400 when selling. Speculation - in a free market - is the one of key points that allowed the industrial revolution to take place. If you want to point a finger - point it at those who are trying to turn speculation into manipulation - the two are very different things.

I spoke to a guy for 2 hours yesterday on the phone - he gave me advice for running some aspect of my business and it was time he didnt have to give me.
