Nothing much compared to Fish's recent purchases... but here is one of my humble Pandas purchased today :) ... 25Grizzlies spotted this one in Shanghai, but I was happy to take that which he didn't :) ... hhehehe

Haha as if yennus, I only bought a few things and now I'm going broke...

Anyway I think expo pandas are awesome, it's like a lesser cousin of the Bimetals :D

If I had enough dough I'd be buying them as well, they look great and are highly collectible.

Yeah, hehehe... these are the poor man's bi-metallic Pandas! :) hahahah....

Yep, I think these will be highly collectible... after viewing these against the normal bullion Pandas, I think I'll go for the extra gold almost every time now :) ... even if the majority opinion says otherwise.

Thanks! I saw a few people displaying their expos Pandas in this forum, and then saw them in person today, and thought, "Wow! These really are something extra pretty!" If given a choice between my normal bullion Pandas, and these expo Pandas, I think I would choose the expo Pandas. The gold gilding makes a difference :)

    The strikes are stunning also.

Two days ago i win one auction in ebay at 187,50. Ngc69 2004 beijing panda. I think the expo pandas begining to slowly going to my price range. I try to buy it for less than 190 for a long time.
    Mr ge info:
    2004/5 30.000 (ebay prices 200) pricepedia 2004 220. 2005 152/158
    2006 20.000 (ebay prices 300) pricepedia 274
    Here 10.000 less make a 50% diference

    Nice Thor122, $187 is great price for 2004 panda ms69 :)
I think 2006 the reason why 2006 is much more expensive is because of the good design
I think the high demand of this coin contribute more to the price than the mintage

For me 2006's gilded design is one of the best for panda expos, only second to 2008

This 1996LD NGC MS69 completes my two Panda silver bear collection...unless I decide that I "need" the 1996SD. These cute little bears can be addictive.

    Thank you!

I was looking at the 10 Yuan, and it appears that the shape of the zero is squared. I have not noticed that fonts on any of my other Pandas. Is the shape of the zero on the 1996 unique?

    Thanks
