    "20% interest per month"

Geeeeez... what's that saying about if it's too good to be true? 20% means doubling your money inside of 4 months.

I'm with GP on this one. If a person believes they can make 20% per month on ANYTHING, they are dangerously naive and society is probably better off they are broke now.
    Call it financial Darwinism.

A private detective to find out where he goes and a good pair of bolt cutters may do the trick...

The victims may need a few lesson in money management.

If they only invested in silver and gold!

Shocking video. Thai police seem really slack / corrupt.
Still, those guys were pretty stupid to believe the 20% thing...

It was bad enough that they believed in those kind of returns...

...but they even went "all in" O_O

As my dad used to tell me - a fool and their money are soon parted.

Having watched the video, I know what I would have done - it would involve waiting outside in hiding and a baseball bat! Wouldn't have got the money back but justice would have been served!

It's so easy to damage/burn his car and trash his home the day before you're bound to leave homeward.
Slingshots, paint cans, faeces, etc. (if not guns)

If you're gonna get mugged, might as well get your money's worth in payback.
Of course it would help if you changed your home address and numbers...

Wonder if the perps just got caught out on the recent takedown or whether it was a scam from the beginning?

Can't they just pay a couple of guys to go around to his place and knock him around abit, this is Thailand after all.

I can't understand why the guys at his fence ringing the bell, he should be ramming his car through the gates just get the cash and leave the country ASAP you can't rely on police and the law because there all in this guys pockets.
