I recently paid an upgrade with my online brokerage that feeds me a ton of data. I am trying to syphon through it all and came across some rather interesting numbers. I am pretty sure the numbers only apply to my specific brokerage firm (they are one of the largest in the US), but either way they are interesting. Curious as to if anyone thinks they are a relevant short term indicator or if it is just a reflection of what the stock did the previous day. I would think an indicator because one of the uses of options is an insurance policy, but I would think reflection because every one I have looked at shows bullish if the stock went up that day and bearish if the stock went down that day. With regards solely to SLV 153,129 calls were sold with 37% below the bid and 41% above the ask 13,826 puts were sold with 47% below the bid and 40% above the ask
