Anyone want to share how they intend to make a few extra bucks this year ?. Im always interested to hear new ideas & things my tiny mind might not have thought about . What do you think is a winner for the next couple of years ? If you havent got a money making plan what your doing this year downsizing ?,ramping up ?, retiring ?,restructuring ? For me its much of the same but thinning a bunch of shit that i tend to collect & making life a bit simpler & cash up a bit to sink into something new .
Re-structured one business from high st. retail to a by-appointment show room model. Much lower overheads. Other business ramping up with new equipment and a push to higher end operations and customers.
I'm going the other way, I aim to reduce my workload (hence salary) in the interests of accelerating my studies. Good for income prospects longer term though. Might have more time to indulge in my lovely dirty sideline digging mulch. It's hard work and I thought I'd put that kind of labour behind me but it makes a pretty well-paid student job. Until one of my long-shots pays off that is.

This year I will begin anther qualification so I can start moving up into the exalted ranks of middle management (fun times). Other than that, I will continue freelance writing on the side... I can make a relatively easy 1k extra per month with it.
Quite literally anything I do some academic writing (university papers for people) but by far the most lucrative work is website sales copy. That just entails writing content for product pages/homepages/landing pages/blogs that builds a sales funnel and is optimised for search engines. Just this last week I did product pages for pregnancy tests and workout supplements. I am not Russian myself, I just live here, so I expect a little higher quality of life than your typical Russian. But you aren't wrong, 1k AUD is easily a teacher or doctors salary in Moscow. I don't know how they survive tbh (just as an idea, 1k AUD equates to what I pay in rent each month and I certainly do not live in an exceptional apartment).
