the Reserve Vault in Brisbane - apparently bought by Ainslie and Bullionmark.
Has anyone had any dealings/experience/knowledge with it and if so, what were your impressions and your comments please.

    1) Very tight security
    2) Prices for boxes are fairly high compared to other CBD boxes (Banks)
    3) You can buy and sell within the vault aka. you don't have to move metal
    4) Probably the most secure place in Brisbane

    4) Surely Treasury Casino would be more secure ? They are required to have enough cash on the premises to cover every single bet in play should everyone suddenly win at the same time

I wouldn't be surprised if there was more cash/bullion/artwork in the vault to cover the casino's tab. maybe.

    - Visitation to the Vault is strictly by appointment with photographic ID
    - Appointments can be made by email to [email protected] or by calling 07 3114 2377
    - Photographic ID must be emailed to [email protected] at least 24 hours prior to your visit.
    - All persons visiting the vault must be specified in the booking and will need to provide photographic ID or access will be denied.
    - Persons arriving late to appointments without notifying the Vault will forfeit their appointment, same day rescheduling is not guaranteed.
    - No phones or cameras are allowed in the Vault area under any circumstances

Appointment last for 15minutes and during that time you are the only person to enter...they also run off the hospital power grid.

i believe it would be the safest facility in Queensland..if not Australia...and I believe they have reduced the price of all their safe deposit boxes by 30% for a while. It's on their website

They had that offer when I signed up but I ended up going with a Bullion Locker Safe instead of a Safe Deposit Box anyway because of weight and value. Not sure it is still available and I agree, they don't advertise it on their web but I'm pretty sure the 'from $157 / year' is their small SDB less the 30%. Just call them, I've found them to be pretty helpful
