The Cook Islands one wins hands down for me And close second is a 1/2oz from the NZ Mint Gilded Niue Island one is quite nice too. The rest are all a little too camp for my liking, especially the English version.
The Perth Mint - Ten Kilogram Horse. Amazing! Here it is hot off the press.
Source: Same for me. Superb coin. Have scores of them in a single article for those interested. http://agaunews.com/2014-year-of-the-horse-coins/
Nice coins above but we still have half a year to go in 2014 and so there's likely still a couple of Lunar Horse coins that will be released. Just because some mints are in the terrible habit of releasing coins in the year prior to the date of the coin doesn't mean we should just cave in like sheeple. I'm reserving judgement till the last horsey comes out of the stables. .
what a beauty does anybody got a actual foto off the cook islands horse in red it looks different than the pic showed above thats for shure .
Check this generic coin from Provident Metals selling for around spot + $.99 Provident Metals round by TomD77, on Flickr
Yeah, this one is probably my fav of all. I got one during the release ($366.00). Wish I bought a slew of them. Although, I just order 4 one kilo PM lunar horse...can't wait to get them. Yipeeee
who made the one in the third pic ? 1st - cook Island , 2nd N.Z mint 3d ??? to me it looks rather nice
This image (composed from from a single low quality video frame) depicts what I believe to be the best 2014 horse coin on earth. I do not own this coin but would love to. It's a Proof 1 Kilo Silver Lunar Horse from where else except the Perth Mint. The video from where this coin image was taken is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zKDchf455U Can anyone deny that it is a spectacular looking .999 pure silver coin? .
At less than $1 USD per coin, I think this qualifies as aeshthetic. "Most" aesthetic depends on whether copper joins silver and gold in the future as a worthwhile "physical" holding.
