So the Royal Aust Mint has released (a limited edition???) set of Aust $1.00 coins via Aust Post .

    https://auspost.com.au/great-aussie-coin-hunt#gach__coins

Don't know what mintage will be like and doesn't say you can purchase these uncirculated, only via receiving change over the counter from Aust Post.

I like the images used, good fun (Iced Vovo $1.00 coin) and I suspect a full set will attract some premium (like a Little Coles Shop set) but what that value will be?????

    Anyone come into possession yet?

    Images of coins below.

It is very weird business from RAM. According to RAM website the 6 coins will be released every week and send to Post Office. 6 coins has been released so far but on ebay you can buy all 26 coins if you are lucky /different sellers/.How RAM allows those people get these coins now and in such quantities? I agree that full set can attract heavy premium. They selling now between $6-$10 per coin on Ebay.

I've recently found 2 x $1 coins with little letters in square boxes from a previous RAM coin challenge. I'll keep a look out for the latest ones now. images (6).jpeg

I get washing machines full of these novelty coins in my laundromat lol. often get clearly broken sets put in ahaha
On my drinks machines I programed in the mech to accept the round 50s, they rarely show up but once or twice a year some one puts one in, not sure if the person who robbed their grandads coin jar mistook them for 20cent coins or they knew they are 50cent coins ahaha. worth the five minutes to program the mech just incase, I do program them in as 50cents ahaha. coin counter spits them out as incorrect coins so they dont get lost in the coin bags

I mentioned that, Its very rare, the best I had is two in a year. But Once a year I would say I get one. lol

any way if there are some coins People are chasing especially in those coloured $2 coins, I can keep an eye out for them, the colours are great as they stand out in a bucket, the coin hunt coins blend in pretty well with regular $1, but can look if need be, cant make promises I dont look at every coin 1 at a time. But might get lucky
