Someone somewhere on the forum was looking for gold 50c - can't get pics up Australia 2013 Circulating Coinage in Gold 6 Individual Gold Proofs! Australia's unique fauna first graced our coins when Stuart Devlin's wildlife designs were chosen for the introduction of decimal currency in 1963. Devlin's composition of kangaroos later adorned the $1 coin in 1984, and Horst Hahne's indigenous elder became the reverse of the $2 coin introduced in 1988. Most Australians hold these coins without considering that they are works of art and pieces of history. Each coin represents a moment in Australia's numismatic record, captured in precious metal for future generations to treasure. This is the first time all six coins have been released to purchase individually. Each coin is housed in a navy presentation case with clear lid, perfect for display. Further to this the coin is packaged into a navy gift box featuring the Royal Australian Mint crest logo, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Struck in 99.99% Pure Gold with a mintage of just 500 for each coin. Hmm, just thought I'd put it in this thread for posterity's sake: 1oz gold proof krugerrand with the "Star of Africa" mintmark

Not sure if this qualifies, but here is a Isle of Man 2009 Bi-Metallic Angel (25th Ann.) PF-70 UCAM NGC. According to APMEX: Perfect bi-metallic Angel! 1984 saw the release of Pobjoy Mint's very first Gold Angel coin, which depicted a classical image of Saint Michael, and 2009 is the 25th Silver Anniversary of the Isle of Man Gold Angel coin. To commemorate this series of special coins, the Isle of Man Treasury has released a unique Proof 999.9 Gold Angel coin with an outer ring of Proof .999 fine Silver. NGC has graded this coin as a perfect Proof 70 Ultra Cameo! It contains 31.1 grams of Gold and 9.39 grams of Silver. Limited mintage of only 500!
Hungarian coins are hard to beat amongst real circulating coins. This is the remint to appreciate their beauty.
1oz high relief proof lunar horse, with a 1oz regular lunar horse. The 3D effect is really amazing, but the coin is so tiny!
My very first circulated gold coin! Hope this isn't a start of another project! 1911-D St. Gaudens Gold Coin
MY 2009 Ultra High Relief Gold Double Eagle. This is my all time favorite. I will keep this coin forever.
That's a good way to contrast between the circulated St Gauden gold coin and the modern high relief version. I have to admit it feels really good being able to fondle a circulated gold coin. Also blows my mind knowing such coins have survived after being minted for so long (more than 100 years ago in this case!)
It looks great. For many people, owning silver and gold coins is a simple yet highly beneficial alternative to watching hard-earned money disappear in the stock or real estate markets. If you weren't one of those unlucky people that lost money in the stock market, got foreclosed upon, got laid off or watched the value of retirement funds plummet over the last decade, don't think you're out of the woods quite yet.
