A friend and I are planning a 3 day stay over in Sydney next week and I was hoping to combine the whirlwind visit with a cyclonic trip to some of the bullion/coin dealers there. Any Sydneysiders help me out with a list ? CBD preferred I have a couple on my list ,but any help would be appreciated...otherwise I might have to pretend I am a tourist and visit galleries and museums
1. MR Roberts - below wynyard station - a must! That shop is infested with kookas atm 2. Downies - near townhall station - some cheap unwanted proof coins 3. Jaggards - pitt st - some 1oz S1 lunar gold, prepare to pay premium 4. ABC syd - pitt st - source of pamp 5. Coin club - dymock building - george st - nice current year variety 6. IsWright - castlereagh st - lots of world coins, medallia etc 7. KJC - again prepare to pay premium If you're venturing out to the western suburbs, would recommend visiting JamesG's shop at westfield parramatta. Bullionmoney is in parramatta as well, but i've never been to the shop, so can't comment
Lol, I might also be going to Sydney next week. Thanks for the list guys, I'll have a look at these places too.
If I do go to Sydney I have to go to coin club to complain about the proof coin I bought from them that wasn't proof when it reached me.
depends what you are after several dealers have pricelists for bullion coins and bars, eg ABC and KJC It is nice to have a look in the coin shops too, even just for interest's sake In addition to the ones above, there is Strand Coins , Strand Arcade, George St
A Et L has gone fishin' .according to his website ..I think there will be enough on the list to keep us busy
