Take a look at this website that was given to me by forum member Lim: http://store.singaporegoldsilver.com/pricehist/silver-panda-price.php?year=1993 The "Panda Book" does not include prices since they can change daily, they only give a estimated mintage. For the first one, the 1999 1/10 Oz gold panda, the book states that overall their was a mintage of 25,501 but the population estimated is at <13,000. the small date is estimated at <2,900 For the second one, the same overall mintage applies as well as estimation on population, but the gold panda with the serif is <1,500 I hope this helps, and I would invest in getting the book
Thanks, this post greatly helps. But unfortunately, my pockets are not as deep for this kind of stuff yet. Price on one of them is already $1k and the auction is not even over yet. Perhaps in time as my collection progresses, I will buy it at this price, but for now I can't compete with the demand.
Oh I understand that! The wife is starting to collect the silver pandas and all she has right now is the 2014, 2013, 2012, and a 1993 "Large Date" variety.
