Hey everyone, first post on this site

I'm fairly knew to actually stacking PMs, but I've been watching videos and reading articles for the best part of the year. I don't earn very much while at Uni so usually I can only save about $100/month for Gold or Silver. So far I have a 10oz bar and a 1/10th gold Kangaroo, but I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm looking to spend around $250, so that's about enough for a 10oz Kookaburra or another 1/10th oz Kangaroo (which would leave me some money to buy a few 1oz coins too), but I'm unsure. Any advice would be really appreciated.

    Cheers :)

Id buy the silver due to the GSR. Also a 10oz bar will feel more significant than a 1/10th Kangeroo!

go the 10oz kook. i think silver is the better buy right now. the kook will increase in price because it has numis value. why a 1/10 kangaroo? why not 1/10oz lunar? most people dont collect kangaroos they are basically straight bullion. they are a bar in a coin shape lol.

Thanks, from looking at some of the sub forums it's a good place for discussion.

They have similar premiums in terms of percentage, I think I'll get the kookaburra and then see what to do next once I have a bit more money. Thanks for the advice.

Buy a 10 oz lunar. Then next time, sell your 1/10 kangaroo, add your savings allocation, and buy a 1/4 oz lunar.

I haven't really looked into lunar coins because I can't use online stores at the moment and all the times I've asked about them in shops they weren't in stock. The Kangaroo only had a premium of $2.50 compared to a 1/10 bar, so I just got that. I'm almost certain that I'll get the Kookaburra now though. Thanks for the advice.

I would buy gold coin. Easier to carry, and easier to sell... Buy what you like. I like kangaroos more than lunars and I collect 1/4 kangaroos.
