    I asked because you said below that you sold/profited on a number of stocks, which is more then a few. I want to see them all, not just one. Also, there is no date on that. How do we know you sold that now and not while ago??

    Try reading what I wrote again. ...beautiful market drop on queue (transports & other)

    Didn't trade Transports, but they dropped as I thought they would.

    Considering I sold yesterday, after the highest SPX price EVER REACHED, it would be near impossible for me to have made a loss.

    Not sure if that is a serious question, however...

    Just oversold imo, we should have finished a 2 wave down, now due for decent 3rd wave up. Should have a decent rally here imo.

    No, about 2 hours ago the Japanese government suggested they would start issuing 50 year government bonds as part of its stimulus package. This caused the USD/JPY to weaken with the carry-trade pushing up S&P futures as investors borrow in Yen and invest in USD taking advantage of the interest rate differentials. Had nothing to do with technical levels of the S&P. Let's hope the BoJ doesn't spoil your party on Friday afternoon by disappointing the markets with a lack of follow-through :)

    I'll stick to my T/A thanks- most news is just noise in the scheme of things :)

    While I think the low growth environment will persist for another 12 months, I think now could be a good time to venture into smaller ASX mining companies with minimal debt and decent resource bases. I'm biased towards bauxite and copper, in particular.
    I'm guessing we'll see more weakness over the next year and I plan to add on the dips and add others where the metrics look attractive.
