Whoaa that's rough, looks like I made the right call to get out of the market on Friday. Hope everyone had the chance to cashed in.
surreal ARD -30% CCU -14% SVL -15% CGT -5% RMS +2% (producing gold miner) To me i'm reading gold as the flight to saftey, and silver is still thought of as an industrial play.
Metals: Gold -1% Silver -2% Shares always take the biggest hit. Always the biggest rallies. The 2nd explosion at the reactor isn't good. I'll wait for the next couple of days. I'd expect a bloodbath to continue. Once it's settled. Buy in.
Was going to cash in on Friday and call it even but decided not to. Now i'm in the red. Ahh well, may as well leave it in now.
Oh man thats why you need to put in stops. And the may as well leave it attitude is how many get wiped out completely Not that Im saying you dont know what you are doing
Sold 50% 2 weeks ago and was looking to sell the remainder over the next few months. At this rate, it mite pay to cash out now and sit on the sidelines for a few weeks....
Got out of etpmag(ASX tracks price silver),now clean. "Ahh well, may as well leave it in now." Your brave.
The 3rd largest economy has just been pummeled and I doubt will recover anytime soon. No wonder it has reverberated around the globe! And this, despite their central bank pouring close to $200B into the market....ouch. My speccie silver plays are off. My PM holdings are ok. Even my junior oil holdings are shot. Thankfully, I haven't borrowed a cent for any of it. What do you guys expect to happen to spot Ag & Au overnight?
What do you guys expect to happen to spot Ag & Au overnight? ..................... Rather have gold than silver.
I recon it's all about the fallout issues from the reactor. *If* the containment vessels are doing their thing. http://www.sibch.tv/share/contents/livecamera/ekimae.html Shybuya station seems to still humming.... which is on the busiest rail-loop in Tokyo.... buildings still standing, business still functioning. I recon once the ass falls out of US bond yields (happening now), gold ill be the next thing to run to. My producing gold stocks didn't get anywhere near as slammed as silver juniors. One of em was up 2% today. Darn interesting times... I'd expect a Fed Reserve liquidity announcement o-night.
Big producing gold miners who don't need capital might be the safe way to go. However, might be a hell of a buying opportunity. The media might be stirring this(maybe owners own coal) or like increasing revenue by creating fear,
