Good on you John, you didn't quite sell at the peak but close enough!
    My question is..
Why don't you do it again, buy silver, hold, sell at $49 this time.
How come your going for gold instead?
    Regards
    Garry

happier holding gold atm instead of heavy silver... ratio is screaming back up... where will it stop? 40-50 probably.

then ill swap gold and fiat back for silver.

    Gotcha!
I just bought what I thought was the dip, went to Perth mint today for 2 bars but they only had 1 physical, bought it.
Just got home & watched your latest utube, now I'm glad I didn't buy both (1 on paper). I will watch & save, see if the market slides anymore, if it goes another 10% like you have speculated I will get ready to back up the truck!
Maby even try to short when it gets back to $48, or even better, trade into Au.

How about I confirm when I re-enter the market and you confirm when you're underwater with your silver.

We'll do a little experiment on the benefits of hedging.

Stella you must feel 9 feet tall and bulletproof at the moment. While I am feeling the pain of seeing my silver wealth evaporate, I have to say that I genuinely feel glad that at least one good guy timed it right and won. I raise my glass to you!

well im hoping most on here at least bought before the breakout from $20... if not - then yea - it must be hard to watch this capitulation. scary stuff....

it will be ok in the end tho - silver fundamentals havent changed... we just have to flush the silver liberation army out of the market and its onwards and upwards ;)

ROFL.. you've been busy stella.. getting a little worked up mate.

    A whip-saw has 2 parts... a major down & a major up!!

We've had a major down, now expecting the major up to occur tonight in the US session, where there is some volume!

Feel free to let me know in the morning if I got it wrong... it does happen occasionally. :)

How do you define the point at which i'm underwater with silver? Do you mean when the fiat dollar value of my stack is less than the fiat cost price of my stack??
If thats the case i dont think you'll ever hear from me as this will never happen.

Nonetheless - whatever your definition ... you've got yourself a deal!

Well since the $20 breakout, I've been quietly adding to my Gold stack while patiently waiting for a pull back in silver so I could load up on some more kg. It just seemed to go too far and too fast and I was not comfortable with it. I thought it was getting away from me, and I was temped to start buying silver, but I stuck to Au.
Had a plan to recover some of my silver purchase cost, but my stack is not large and it seems I missed the the train stop so to speak.

Think I will watch and wait a bit longer before I make any more purchases, but it's all a good learning experience.
