I have seen a couple of these in the last few days in slightly more financial-focused media , but this one is from The Guardian which has a very wide audience.... http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/nov/01/financial-armageddon-crash-warning-signs Best part about this is that it has been written for the average Joe, not for financially-literate people. I expect to see many more of these articles over the next few weeks and months.
I usually get written off as a "consipiracy theorist" whenever I try and talk about this stuff, so any MSM links are very useful to me in making a credible case. Keep the articles coming please
Well lets hope the MSM really start taking this on so more sheeple become awake and start preparing for the worst. So many still living in a dreamworld. Bring it on I say!!!
Staying out of debt, no mortgage at least. Still surviving on Newstart allowance but only just. Which I had some spare cash to stack some PM's!
I am starting to get my other half thinking about it now, and she is starting to understand the likely outcomes (hyperinflation, loss of value of savings). She has a reasonable amount saved up, so pushing a portion of this into PMs will help.
You realise that if the economy is destroyed like you're hoping that the dole will probably be reduced and the cost of stuff will increase right?
That's not preparing. How about things like getting fit, learning to grow your own vegetables, stocking food, minimizing junk and being prepared to move quickly, and eliminating common addictions if you have them (cigs, coffee, etc)?
Ye I hav'nt worked out a solution to those problems yet. I do realise things will get harder not easier.
^^ Good advice ... and learn to get along with your neighbourhood because often that's the world that counts ...
Another Guardian article, TPP et al get mentions also: http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/nov/03/financial-crisis-corporate-power-george-monbiot
